Derived Biomarkers
Some of the biomarkers in your report are derived — meaning they're calculated from other directly measured values rather than tested independently in the lab. These are standardised clinical tools used by healthcare professionals worldwide.

What is biomarker testing?

At Kyma Health, biomarker testing is the foundation of everything we do. No guesswork, no quick fixes, no generic health advice. Just data.

Biomarker testing measures the actual molecules in your blood that reflect how your body is functioning at the deepest level.

Your results are then mapped against optimal ranges, so you can see where you stand today — not years later when problems have already developed.

Why does it matter?

  • Detect early signs of conditions such as cardiovascular disease, metabolic dysfunction, and hormonal imbalance, increasing the chances of timely intervention.
  • Understand your health baseline so you can improve energy, metabolism, and longevity by tracking relevant biomarkers over time.
  • Monitor health changes in response to new dietary, exercise, or supplement habits, objectively measuring the impact of your lifestyle changes.
  • Personalise your health decisions by assessing your own risks and options rather than relying solely on population averages.

Yes. Kyma complements your existing care — it doesn't replace your doctor. We focus on identifying deficiencies, metabolic imbalances, and other underlying issues to strengthen your overall health. Our approach is designed to work alongside any current treatment.

Standard tests typically cover 10–15 biomarkers — nowhere near enough for a complete view of how your body is performing. Kyma analyses 130+ biomarkers across 14 health categories. These tests would cost over €500 at a private laboratory, and are rarely prescribed without a clear medical indication.

A fully personalised health plan that covers: dietary guidance, targeted supplements based on your specific deficiencies, an exercise plan, and practical lifestyle changes. Everything is based on your own results, medical history, and goals.

Yes. Kyma's protocols are developed by doctors and researchers with decades of clinical experience. Your plan is prepared by clinical dietitians trained in our evidence-based approach. (Please note: Kyma is a wellness service and does not replace the doctor–patient relationship.)

Kyma partners with 50+ accredited laboratories across Greece and the UK. You choose a date, time, and location through the platform. The appointment takes 15 minutes and includes a blood draw and urine sample.

No — testing is only available as part of a Kyma membership. The value of Kyma goes beyond the tests themselves — it's the analysis, the personalised protocol, and the ongoing support that follow. As a member, you can add extra tests whenever you like.

Most members notice meaningful changes within 6–8 months. Full stabilisation typically takes around a year, with optimal results building over two years of consistent tracking and adjustment.
