About

As Chief Scientist of Kyma Health, Rosa Tsoukala is scientifically responsible for how biomarkers are interpreted and for the content of the personalised nutrition, supplement and lifestyle plans. Her field is preventive health: spotting metabolic changes early, before they develop into chronic disease, and turning them into specific, measurable changes in everyday life.

She holds a degree in Biomedical Science from King's College London, with First Class Honours, and is a Mayo Clinic-trained health coach. She has also trained in nutritional and metabolic science through the European Institute of Metabolomic Medicine (EINUMM), where she is a Scientific Advisor.

She has worked with hundreds of people in prevention, assessing laboratory data and designing personalised interventions. Every Kyma recommendation rests on published research and current scientific guidelines, and is updated as the evidence evolves.

Before Kyma she was a researcher in the Department of Medical and Molecular Genetics at King's College London, based at Guy's Hospital, and led the science magazine ScienceMind as President and Editor in Chief.
